American Round-Up's ranching programme to Canada is in the two mostIncorporate Calgary Stampede 4-13  July 2008 or 3-12 July 2009 western provinces of Alberta and British Columbia.  These two neighbouring provinces contain the best of the scenery in western Canada and some of the most exciting adventure opportunities in North America.  We have therefore included a selection of optional extra packages available through American Round-Up below.   

The recently released film The Assassination of Jesse James  was filmed partly in Alberta, Canada.

This charming property is located 14 miles north east of Clinton and 250 miles from Vancouver in the foothills of the spectacular Marble Mountain range of the Caribou Region of British Columbia. The Ranch House and Cabins look out over spectacular mountain vistas and open pastures. The main lodge is comfortably furnished and is where meals are served straight from the kitchen. There are four cabins all with private facilities, these sleep 2 or 3 people. Horses are a passion of the owners and so you can expect some great trail rides with plenty of variety of paces and terrain. They offer 2-3 hour morning and afternoon rides or all-day rides with packed lunch into the mountains. Back at the ranch, there is a sauna and hot tub to sooth those tired limbs and in the evening. If hiking is your preferred activity, there are a number of sandy trails, these should not be too challenging as the ranch stands at about 4000 feet above sea level. We recommend you consider renting a car and driving leisurely up from Vancouver. Open year round, summer season is May through October. Any day start. 3 and 4 night packages available

Situated in British Columbia's semi-arid high country, the ranch is surrounded by magnificent rolling scenery; sagebrush-covered hills with spectacular views of the Thompson River - a genuine bit of the old West, yet only four hours by car from Vancouver. They have a large string of over 100 horses because riding is what they are all about. All accommodation is air-conditioned with full maid service and private bathrooms. The rooms are entered from a covered boardwalk and are decorated in ranch style. Some open to the riding area, others to the pasture where a small herd of buffalo roam. All rooms are equipped with one queen and one single bed. Additionally, there are three deluxe rooms which have a king-size bed, a bar fridge and a coffee maker. They also have a large heated pool which is available during the summer months, tennis court, BYOB adult lounge where they hold Saturday night dances, movie lounge and games room.  Any day start
