Located on the shore of glacier fed Tyaughton Lake in the serene wilderness of the sunny Chilcotin Mountains is Canada's largest log lodge. Guests can enjoy horseback riding, excellent fishing, mountain biking, grizzly bear & wildlife viewing, secluded interpretive nature trails, gold panning, ATV tours along old mining trails, boating with canoes, rowboats, paddleboats, sailboats, and motorboats. There is a dinning room with views out over the lake and for those arriving by campervan, the resort offers about 18 lakeside pitches with water and electric hook-up. RV owners can enjoy the facilities at the Lodge. On the resort's floatplane, a "DHC-2 Beaver", experience the true untamed Canadian wilderness with flight-seeing trips over the vast Lillooet Ice fields or drop-offs at remote alpine lakes for hiking, fishing and mountain biking.

Guest rooms have hairdryers, radio and satellite TV and can accommodate up to 4 persons sharing existing bedding. Around the resort there are tennis and volleyball courts, children's playground, horse stable, outdoor hot tub, sauna, recreation room and fitness centre as well as a sandy beach where guests can enjoy sunbathing, boating and swimming. On warm evenings, there are lakeside BBQs with a campfire and a singing cowboy! For family units there are a number of log cabins nearby the Lodge, the largest will sleep up to twenty guests. You will need your own transport to drive to Tyax as it is some 55 miles west of Lillooet.
