Today you will drive south east
through Dubois and Riverton through the Wind River Indian Reservation.
Thermopolis has the largest mineral hot springs State Park. The Wind River
Canyon is located 6 miles South of Thermopolis on WY Hwy 20. The canyon is 14
miles in length and the Big Horn river flows through it. There are several
thousand acres dedicated to the buffalo herd that the state of Wyoming
maintains at Hot Springs State Park
Day 4 Cody/Holiday Inn

Named after Buffalo Bill Cody, this town is the eastern gateway to Yellowstone and boast’s one of the finest Museums in the north west. From June to August there is a nightly rodeo to enjoy. This area is renowned for white water rafting and fishing.
Day 5 Yellowstone Park/Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel (Frontier Cabins)
150 miles
On the way into the Park, stop at Bill Cody’s old hunting lodge for a bite to eat then travel on into the northern section of this magical Park. Geo-thermals occur throughout this area and wildlife is usually to be seen close to the road.

super-charged water. Grant Village is just east of Old Faithful on the shore of
Lake Yellowstone
Day 7 Jackson/Painted Buffalo Inn 100 miles
There’s still plenty to see in Yellowstone today and by afternoon you can start towards the South gate and into the neighbouring Grand Teton Park with more inspiring mountain vistas.
