This is a delightful adult only ranch located in the Bitterroot Mountains south of Missoula. It is one of the few that is a member of the Relaix and Chateaux group. The emphasis here is very much on pampering yourself in deluxe accommodation and with great food and drink. The eight styles of log cabin have private or nearby hot-tubs, elegant regional decorations, wood burning fireplaces, phones with data ports, fully stocked bar plus a TV and VCR.
Whether you are a skilled Nordic skier or would like to try cross-country skiing for the first time, we encourage you to experience the Chief Joseph Cross-Country Ski Area at the top of Lost Trail Pass, where Montana and Idaho meet. You will find 24 km of well-groomed trails ranging from beginner to advanced along the Continental Divide. With advance notice, we can arrange for an instructor to meet you at the ski area.
Nearby, backcountry skiers can enjoy the Old Anderson Mountain Road which is a section of the Continental Divide Trail.

Info : The Ski resort straddles the Montana/Idaho border, where you will ski the top of the Continental Divide at 8,200 feet. The average annual snowfall is 300", the resort's vertical drop is 1,800 feet, there are 5 double chair lifts and 45 trails with the longest run an amazing 2.5 miles long.
