This is a small, family run ranch. Their objective is to provide a limited number of guests with the time and the place to slow down from the fast pace of modern life and to share in the experience in one of the last remaining strongholds of their western heritage. Situated west of the Continental Divide, the ranch is located in a truly unspoiled setting, secluded and serene. They are off the power grid; electricity comes from solar arrays supplemented by generators as necessary. Cell phone coverage stops 70 miles away; your stay will be undisturbed. Their water comes from stream fed wells and the taste is spectacular. The cabin accommodation is modest and comfortable, with fully equipped private baths, covered porches, fireplaces.

This is Geronimo country. The famous Apache warrior lived and fought here. The Chiricahua tribe of Apaches used this area as a refuge and base of operations for their campaigns in the late 1800's. The mountains, canyons and forests provided protection for Geronimo and his braves. Numerous Native American ruins are in the immediate vicinity of the ranch, including cliff dwellings, caves and rock wall writings. Visiting these sites, many of which remain largely untouched, offers a deeper appreciation for the heritage of the Native Americans, and brings the history of the West to life. After a day of riding horses through the magnificent scenery that is all part of the Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch experience, it may be time to plan for a back country adventure with a wilderness horseback and pack trip to a remote area.

Prices start from £1046.00 plus £140.00 ranch gratuity charge for 6 nights per adult; 5 nights £871 plus £117 ranch gratuity charge; 4 nights £752.00 plus £101 ranch gratuity charge incl tax  3 meals a day, accommodation, ranch activities .   Open  1 March - 13 November 2012. Back country pack trips are usually two days/one night and are taken during a regular stay at the ranch. The ranch offer overnight packtrips for an additional $100 per person which is paid direct to them. All prices are per person unless otherwise specified.
