Paradise Guest Ranch Wyoming

One  of the original guest ranches of the west.  A resort ranch in a truely isolated position offering luxurious log cabins with excellent facilities although this is not always reflected in the prices.  Excellent food, bar for meeting new friends, swimming pool in the summer and riding in spectacular countryside.

HORSE RIDING  The riding program is second to none. They custom fit each guest with the horse that perfectly matches their riding ability. Their riding program is very flexible, and features a number of choices -  two hour rides as well as both half-day and full-day rides.  Alternatively you can spend an afternoon in their private rodeo arena practicing team penning, in which teams of three riders separate three steers from a larger group and work them around the arena and into a pen on the other end of the arena. This is a timed event and competitive and fun for all. Special team penning classes are available.

Organised pack trips  lasts 4 days and 3 nights. Longer trips can be arranged. The fishing is spectacular, and the 13,000 foot peaks on either side of the lakes provide visitors with spectacular photo opportunities, hiking and horseback options.  Our camp features 14 by 20 foot cooking and dining tents with wooden floors and picnic tables. Sleeping tents, quality sleeping bags and cots with foam mattresses are all supplied by the ranch.

FISHING - Fly Fishing is one of our premier activities at Paradise Guest Ranch. Cutthroat, Eastern Brook, Rainbow, and Brown trout abound in the waters in and around our ranch. Whether you are a novice or an expert, all are welcome and everyone has fun.  During your week at the ranch we offer casting clinics, knot and fly tying classes and teach you how to strike, play and properly catch and release fish on our private trout ponds. After your start-up lessons, you are free to pursue group guided trips, private guided trips or take off on your own to our productive and varied surrounding waters.

HIKING - Like to see some wildlife? The ranch and its surrounding area have quite a selection. Keep your eyes open for elk, moose, deer, badger, mountain lion, coyote, beaver, fox, antelope, wild turkey, eagles and more, whether you’re on foot or on horseback.

For nature enthusiasts, we the ranch offer a unique naturalist/hiking program showcasing the Bighorn Mountain ecosystem. A variety of naturalist-guided hikes are offered throughout the week with a grand finale hike to the legendary Hole In The Wall, past the old hideouts of Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid.
