Located 172 miles from Montevideo in the town of Mercedes.This is a very old estancia 5 miles from the town of Mercedes on the banks of the Rio Negro and is owned and run by John Maness a former polo player and his family. The Polo Club was formed by a group of friends all of whom had an interest in Polo which has made Los Moteros one of the best Polo Clubs in Uruguay. It now boasts more than 50 active players who range from 0 – 7 goals.Being located close to Buernos Aires it has the advantage of being in peaceful and beautiful countryside surrounded by trees and attractive roling hills. It is in an excellent location if you are interested in learning to play or enjoy playing polo. For groups of transfer from Montevideo is provided (singles and doubles at extra cost TBC). Majority of lodging is in the town of Mercedes and mornings from Monday to Saturday the following schedule takes place : Polo and ridings lessons plus stick and ball and afternoons 4 chukkas of polo depending on your level of expertise.Prices include 7 nights lodging, breakfast, quick lunch and dinner with cold drinks, stick and ball and riding lessons in the morning, 4 chukkas six times during the week.
