WATER RAFTING ONE DAY TRIP ON THE CLARK FORK IN MONTANA

If you're
looking for a day of fun, excitement and relaxation, try a day on the Clark Fork
River. This is a big volume, big ride river with lots of roller coaster waves
and fun class II-III rapids with
names such as Boateater, Fang, Cliffside and
Tumbleweed. Between the rapids are calm stretches where you may jump in for a
swim, or sit back and relax to enjoy the spectacular scenery. They use 13'
paddle rafts so everyone is a participant. On many trips they will also bring
inflatable kayaks called “Duckies”..
Each raft has a professional guide who teaches everyone how to paddle and as a team, you navigate the rapids. Lunch is served along the way on a pristine beach, look out for freshwater crayfish in the shallows Trips run from the end of June to early September and the minimum age is 9. The trip starts from Superior MT and you will travel through the Alberton Gorge with it’s magnificent rock formations and should see a good deal of local wildlife. The trip sets out around 9.00am Pacific Time and you should be back at your car by about 5.00pm. This is a great day trip on a clean and lively river in Montana, for those looking for a taste of what rafting is about, you will really enjoy yourselves.
