WHITE WATER RAFTING TRIPS

USA & CANADA               

We have a selection of rafting trips to suit families who wish to enjoy a moderate adventure or adults looking for the extra thrill of the whitewater rapids.  The best time to go depends on you.  During the Spring the water generally runs higher ie April-June.  The water is high, the weather cool, dry and wild flowers begin to appear. 

Summer July-August is a great time for families, water levels run good to excellent, which means thrilling whitewater, but not as intense as the peak in June.  Also as the river level drops large sand bars appear making perfect beaches for camping, volleyball and other sports.

In Westwater Canyon, as the water drops the rapids actually increase in size and intensity, therefore midsummer is a very good time to run Westwater. 

Cataract Canyon roars from mid May to end of June, with the peak between 1 and 10 June, when water flow range from 65,000 to an incredible 115,000 cubic feet per second!  If you’re wild about whitewater this is “the time” to reserve space.

Fall – The summer crowds are gone, the wilderness sets itself ablaze in autumn colours before the onset of grey winter.  A time for a last ride over thrilling rapids on near deserted

Class 3    June to September   1 day 14 miles.  For those looking for a day of fun, excitement and relaxation try to take a day on the Clark Fork for a memorable experience
