A progressive horse riding programme for novice and very experienced - wooded terrain. You will be paired with a mount for the week, matching your riding level and expectations to a horse with the right personality and expectations. You will ride with a small number of other guests who are looking for a similar experience and a wrangler, groups usually consist of up to 6 guests and a wrangler. Because riders are matched with other riders of comparable ability, horseback rides range from "walking only" to those which spend a fair amount of time cantering (loping.) The wranglers work with the horses all year round and will match you to the right horse.

Children six and over ride with the other guests their age. Children's rides are filled with riding games which are not only fun but progress the skills of the young riders. Children under six have a horse experience all their own, riding "lead line" with an adult on the ground in control of the horse.

Alternative activities include excellent fishing, tennis, swimming, making friends, arts, crafts and sports to

keep busy.

Enjoy an afternoon by the pool, watching various riding and horse training demonstrations, a relaxing massage or face treatment, morning yoga, and learning to cast a fly are just a sampling of the activities available.

Meals and cabins accommodation reveal the ranch's attitude to quality and gourmet style food. Their new chef Steven Hazell will prepare meals you will want to remember using the freshest ingredients.
