OLD CHILSHOLM TRAIL DRIVE 30 Jan 2010-4 February 2010 £122 pp per day Arrive Thursday 28 January or Friday 29 January 2010 - get a room and meet your horse at the Lazy F Ranch. Trailride starts Saturday morning 30 Jan 2010 at the VFW in Cuero, Texas. Plan 10 days and leave on Monday, 9 Feb 2010. Description : The Lazy F Ranch hosts will take you by trailer from the ranch to the trail ride campsite each day, ready to go early in the morning. They will pick you up if you get tired or sore during the ride or immediately at the end of the day. Trailer you back to the ranch to put your horse out and supper. Admission to dances and other activities and drinks are not included off site. The ranch only provides transportation to and from the ride each day. Any other transport in the evening is $1 per mile (roundtrip) and $25 hour for waiting. Guests are responsible for buying tickets to all San Antonio Rodeo performances and entry to the fairgrounds. Plan to arrive two days before to acquaint yourself with your horse. Spring Roundup end 27 March 5 April 2010 hands on be a cowboy/girl this programme includes mostly riding. Gather and work with cattle. The hours and schedule are more leisurely and relaxed no set schedule.

Autumn Cattle roundup 16-25 October 2010 gather and moving cattle get down and dirty - not for the feint hearted. Prices start from £854pp incl tax and service per week ranch stay or Cattle Drive Spring 27 March-5 April 2010 £1407 and Autumn incl tax and service charge excludes flights Return transfers are available from San Antonio for $300 per car for up to three people and this is paid direct to the ranch. The ranch owner lives away from the guest accommodation, it is our recommendation that guests try and travel in a party. Past experience suggests single female travellers do not enjoy staying here alone because of these domestic arrangements - unless you like your own company.
