THE BIG EZ LUXURY LODGE MONTANA

Ultimate luxury Montana retreat offering a flexible plan of fishing,  golf and hiking onsite and offsite activities including trail rides,  whitewater rafting, hiking and mountain biking, plus tours to Yellowstone Park.     Ideal setting for adventurous play and peaceful solitude.

Gourmet food and a world class list of fine wines.  Geared towards adults, will accommodate children but there is no children's programme.  The Big Ez Lodge provides transportation to and from both Belgrade/Bozeman and West Yellowstone airports for a fee.  Both airports are located approximately 60 minutes from the lodge.  Open May-Oct.   Excellent range of winter activities available off site including cross country skiing, dog sledding and down hill skiing.    7500 ft. Summer activities

Fishing

Some of the nations best fishing is right outside The Big EZ's door. For on-site fishing there are two fully stocked trout ponds and lessons can be arranged. Guided river fishing can be arranged for 1/2 day and full day trips. Full day drift boat trips are also available by appointment.  

Fly fishing -  Half Day

3 anglers per 1 guide:                        $350.00

Horseback rides

Horseback rides throughout the Lee Metcalf Wilderness area, and Gallatin National Forest are available for one, two, and three hour rides. Half-day and full-day trips may also be arranged.  The drive to horseback riding is approximately 10 to 20 minutes away depending upon the outfitter.  There are several horses for different riding abilities.

    Trail Rides:  Horseback rides through the Lee Metcalf Wilderness and Gallatin National Forest for one, two, or three hours:

1 hour:             $28.00      2 hour:   $48.00   3 hour:    $60.00

Golf

The Big EZ's own Buffalo Links, a professionally designed championship 18 hole putting course is on the lawn in front of the lodge. For a more traditional round of golf we can arrange a tee time on the Big Sky golf course. This Arnold Palmer designed course is open from about June 1 to October 10.

Biking and Hiking

Gondola rides to above the tree line are available at Big Sky resort located just minutes away.  See the surrounding country from over 9000 feet where pockets of snow often linger until the middle of July.  Ride back down, hike one of several trails, or rent a mountain bike for a thrilling downhill.  Operations of the Gondola are from approximately the first week of June to the first week of October

    Mountain Bike Rental  Half Day:    $25.00   Full Day       $35.00

Rafting and Kayaking

Both float and whitewater rafting trips are available for half-day, and full day outings. Kayaking lessons can be arranged for groups of three or more adults. The Big Sky rafting season runs from approximately Memorial Day weekend to September 10.

Yellowstone Park

Explore the Worlds first National Park & witness the constantly changing land & wildlife. With a guide or on your own,  we can help you customize your Yellowstone experience. From the classic Old Faithful / Yellowstone Canyon loop drive, a backcountry hike to your own personal geyser, or a wildlife safari, every day in Yellowstone is an adventure.

Rock Climbing

First time to advanced rock climbers will enjoy challenging themselves on climbs up some of Montana's most spectacular pitches available to anyone ages 6 to 70

Massage

After enjoying a day full of area activities finish it off with a relaxing therapeutic massage. A combination of Sports, Swedish & Neuromuscular Therapy, relieves tension & soothes tight muscles. Pressure is to your Preference, light to firm.        Massage available: one hour for $100.00

Culinary Team
World class dining is provided in the Lodge dining room by an outstanding team of culinary professionals. Executive Chef, Tommy Blakeley, has brought together an excellent team of professionals. With complementary styles, his team takes a relaxed approach to high-end cuisine. Wild game dishes are a specialty of the house. Dinner reservations are required. Their culinary team uses only the freshest ingredients available. As a result the menus change frequently.    Wines The Big EZ Lodge has an world class wine list with over 100 selections geared toward pairing with our food to complete your dining experience.

Transportation : The Big EZ L The Big EZ Lodge provides transportation to and from both Belgrade/Bozeman and West Yellowstone airports for a fee.  The drive is along scenic highway 191, which follows the path of the Gallatin River. Winter Activities

Explore the Worlds first National Park & witness the constantly changing land & wildlife. Winter excursions into Yellowstone offer the chance to see the park without the people. Travelling  via snow coach, or snowmobile, daily visitors are limited so Yellowstone feels like you have it to yourself. Cross Country skiing options are available with advanced notice

Downhill Skiing

With 5300 acres and 4350' vertical the skiing in Big Sky is world class. Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin  share an interconnect lift ticket are located across the valley from the Big EZ Lodge. Famous for uncrowded slopes and no lift lines the area receives an average of 400" of annual snow and offers the gentlest of beginner runs to steep and deep expert only terrain. Of course lessons and ski rentals can be arranged.

Cross Country Skiing

75k of groomed Cross country ski trails are available in the Big Sky area.  Top ranked in north America the trails are groomed to perfection.  Lessons, rentals, and guides are available

Fly Fishing

Dog Sledding

Experience the thrill of driving a sled dog team during a half or full day adventure. Advanced reservations are required for this activity.

Dogsledding $110.00 per person.  Please note only 7 sleds operate per tour with 2 adults per sled.  The entire day will need to be booked for 28 people with one group in the morning around 9:00 a.m. and the other group in the afternoon around 12:30 p.m.

Snowmobiling

West Yellowstone Montana, the snowmobile capitol of the world offers hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails and is only a short drive from the Big EZ Lodge. The mountains around the Big EZ Lodge are another great option with open meadows for off trail adventures.

       Half Day Snowmobiling:

$189.00 per person for a half day ride, includes snow suit, helmet, etc.

$125.00 for one guide

Snowshoes are available at the Big EZ Lodge and our 3000 acres are ideal for winter exploration. The surrounding Gallatin National forest and Yellowstone National park offer up many more miles of trails
